A great system exploration utility, that controls all the open processes, DLLs and handlers.

Process Explorer places in your hands all the information available on the DLLs and process handlers found active or open in your system. Process Explorer has two windows: in the top one there's a list of active processes, with the name of the programs that have them opened, and the content of the lower window depends on the mode you have selected.

If you are in Handle mode you will see the handlers of each process you have selected in the upper window.

If you are in DLL mode you have all the DLLs and files mapped in the memory that the process chosen has loaded, and information on them.

Also, Process Explorer has a powerful sesarch option to find out quickly which processes have loaded specific DLLs and handlers. Process Explorer works with all Windows platforms and is completely free. If you use Windows 2000 o NT, you may need a modified version of the program, and it can be found on the author's website for free.
